    Bow setup question

Maybe a silly question, but i'm kind of new to the technical part of a bow. I have a Bowtech 101st airborne, with a whisker biscuit rest. When you put an arrow on and eyeball it, is your string, rest, sight all suppose to kind of line up with your riser. The reason I am asking is every thing looks inline, except for my sight its about an inch off. I tried paper tuning and kept getting a low and to the left tear. Messed around with my rest and didnt change much, any ideas.

What brought this on was my broadheads aren't hitting where my field points are, I know this has been beat to death about paper tuning, but is there a basic idea to get it all lined up.

You should have a baseline to start at. With my Mathews it's 13/16 from riser for horizontal and 1/8 above level for vertical. That gets me really close, but your bow may have different base numbers to start with. Make sure you're relaxed when you tune. You shouldn't even have to aim from 6' away. Concentrate on relaxing your grip.

Off the cuff your rest is high and to the right. Ideally arrow, string and pins are in the same plane, but grip etc can throw that off. Torquing the grip and the wrong spine can make large differences.

Wherever you bought the Bowtech should be able to help you get it setup correctly, plus help with paper tuning and see how your broadheads fly. If you've not done it yourself before, I'd suggest you let them help you, watch and ask lots of questions to learn.

I bought the bow off the internet. I think I am going to have to have some help, any recommendations on a shop that will help me around the graham are within an hour away or so.

Take an Allen wrench and set the arrow level,(using the wrench as a guide) front and back in relation to the arrow shelf, Now set it square with the riser using same method.
At this point you will be close to center shot, although the final resting place should end up 1/16th inside.
Due to torque from the rollerguide, your pins will be left of a straight line with your string and arrow.(about 1/8th inch)
