Sand blasting, what should I expect?

I am wanting to have a 250 gallon propane tank sand blasted. What would something like this cost, and where would I look to get this done?

"Legal" sand blasting is expensive since they determined that sand (silica) is a carcinogen. Look for someone in your area that does commercial painting...

find a good powder coat shop. they are usually tied into some blasting company, and might be able to get a decent price. IMO go to lowes or HD to get the playground sand, and offer to provide your own media, and they might knock the price down some.

Buy your own sandblaster and do it yourself. You can get a blaster at tractor supply for about $120 and then what ever media you want to use.
        (You will need a compressor)
