    Moultrie I50 Warranty

    i have two moultrie i50 trailcams. one is new just took it out of the box today and the other probably has over 10k pics. the older one i bought sometime last summer. a few days ago i checked my camera that i have set up at my hog trap. i noticed the lcd was blank. i knew the batteries were about 4 months old so i took new batteries out there today. put them in and still nothing. put them batteries in the new camera and they worked. put the batteries back into the older one and flipped it over to aim and the laser was bright as can be. best i can think is the lcd went out. what kind of warranty do those things have? i checked the paperwork the camera came with and i couldnt find anything about warranty. thanks.

    where did you buy it...

    this is a common problem....

    it has a year warranty but moultrie has been taken them if they have been over that year.

    try where you bought it first then contact moultrie

      got it at cabelas. do i need the receipt?

        you will have to ask cabelas about the receipt.. i did not need one when i sent one back to moultrie

            Just take it back to Cabela's. They will exchange it or give you store credit without a receipt even if you don't have the box.

              I bought an I40 and returned it to Cabelas 10 months later when the screen went out. I paid with Cabelas Visa and ordered online. They gave me my money back, I had no receipt. After trying a Leaf River from Cabelas I ended up getting a Scoutgard. I would try Cabelas first.

                  I believe the i50 is marketed only by cabelas and they will definitely stand behind it. Take it back and they will replace it. That is the main reason I like to buy from cabelas.
