Game Cam/Feeder light poles and cows

So I am thinking about making some "mobile" poles to mount game cams and solar feeder lights to. So I am thinking a 4x4 cemented in a 5 gallon bucket cut off at 7 foot tall. Mount the light at the top and then the camera at normal height.

Which with out cows I know this would work great. But for you folks with cows on the place do yall think this will survive with cattle around? I know at 7 foot it would be tall enough to not get messed with and should still motion sense. But I am worried about them using it for a scratcher and potentially pushing it over. Yall think it would survive that? Or should I just sink the posts? I really want to be able to move them later as needed though.

Also was thinking for the game cam to make a "cage" out of bull wire and putting around it. Anyone have any ideas on how to go about that and still be able to easily remove the camera and check pics but not be in the way and still keep cows and pigs from rubbing on the camera or knocking it around?

I think the cows would knock it over or at a minimum bump it and not have the camera pointed where you wanted.

Maybe put some eyebolts in the 4x4 with cable anchored to the ground, not as mobile but may be easier than just sinking them - just a thought

Man, I understand what you are wanting to do, but with cows there I don't think it will work. Even with the 4x4 secured in the ground, a camera at "normal height" is probably going to get bumped around when the cows/pigs start to use that post to scratch on. It may end up working well, buy I don't see it happening.

I set a 4x4 in the ground and wrapped it with barbed wire
Zero cows or pigs messed with it. On my own land. Pretty permanent set up

In rocky land I might try a barrel of rocks wrapped in barbed wire.

We made ours with galvanized fence posts concreted in 5 gallon buckets. Drive rebar into the ground on 3 sides of the bucket and use baling wire to tie it all together. Ours have been around cows like that for 5+ years without issue.
