2 for 1 hogs, saving ammo

We all have to do what we can in with ammo being in short supply, so i took one shot and dropped two hogs. and the trail cam took a pic maybe 2 seconds after the shot haha. about 65 yards with an SKS hollow point round. The first pig was hit right behind the ear and the second one was dead center between the eyes. I wish i could say i did it on purpose but i was just waiting on two heads to line up. both of them just dropped and never took a step. The first hog ended up being about 85 lbs and the second was right at 100, both were boars. i pulled lots of good meat and i took it to Cinnamon Creek for processing.

not the whole thing, but yeah kind of. i had an extra bag of corn and i really really really wanted a spike to show up, so i tossed it out by hand to keep it from piling up in any one spot. otherwise the cows would try to get at it.

Wish my last one had been that size--and my shot was in the head. Biggest sow and fattest feral I've killed--196 lbs.

Got way more meat than I wanted/needed, even with one ham half-ruined on the running shot, and far far more work with all the blubber to cut away.
