Slow weekend at our place buck wise but that’s not uncommon for October.

Did see this nice 3 or 4 year old. I think the deer is a fat 3 year old but it’s a coin flip at this point. I have no intentions of killing him anyway.

What are y’all’s thoughts on age?

What are the dates on the first two picks?

If it is the same as the third, I think that he is 4.5. His neck and chest will blow up in the next couple of weeks and make you think he is older than that.

Had a good weekend. Deer were hammering the feeders. I got to get a pretty good look at one of our target culls (6pt) that hopefully one of our hunters can get. I also got a better look at a buck I’ve been getting pictures of. He’s now going to be one of my target bucks. I had him in my protein pen this morning but he didn’t come into the corn feeder. He kept looking at it like he wanted to, but never did. The stand I hunted all weekend is only good with a North wind, so I was in it all weekend. Saturday afternoon, I was able to arrow a doe.

Nice lookin' bucks! I'd be hunting that big six hard!
