Saw a bunch of deer, but with no wind they were jumpy. Saw a good 110” 8 pt 4 yo morning and evening, and a little 10 also. Nothing to shoot at, even if they had presented a shot.

Then I set the pasture on fire. Fortunately caught it in time.

I’ve been guide, trim carpenter and photographer this trip mainly. Haven’t really nailed down a deer to chase yet so easing into the season. These winds have been brutally weak. Set up a new game plan and hoping my guiding skills improve tomorrow before i get fired. Lol

Who needs Olan mills when you have a Kactuskiller??

If you were the photographer you were in Olan Mills.. Olan Mills is the term we’ve used for the whole LDP process and lengths we go through back from our Christoval days..[emoji1303]. Brandon used to be about the quick snap and go in 08 until Olan Mills came into his life [emoji23][emoji23]. And with all the good deer he’s killed since then I’m glad he kept it going. Lotta good memories in great photos.
