1 John 4:16 - We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Your right Johnny danger the world needs GOD.. He is Love.

The coexist people push love and unity
But man it’s hard to coexist with people who want you dead because you don’t believe the way they do.

    Be blessed

Thought I’d open the thread and find this. But since it wasn’t here, here it is.

I’m so thankful that our GOD forgives all sinners that believe in him. Gives me peace for my daily sins. I try to walk like Jesus, but as i know starting all the way back to Adam, the us on earth will fall short and will sin. Just going to keep trying to decrease the number of times I do. Believing definitely builds a Conscience in you when you make decisions.

              What The Worlds Need Now

It’s funny. In our Sunday school small group and last night’s men’s bible study we were discussing God’s love.

“God is love” is a true statement, but people misconstrue God’s love to mean that you should accept everyone as they are. That’s not the case. God’s love is there for all, but he demands correction.

Look at John chapter 8 for example. The “cast no stones” passage. Jesus tells the woman who was caught in adultery that he does not condemn her and to go and “sin no more”. He tells many people throughout the Bible to stop sinning.

He doesn’t just say “You’re good. Do whatever you like.” He always makes a point to tell them to correct their ways.

We should be doing that. To be clear, you don’t have to be without sin to show someone that what they’re doing is wrong. But you cannot condemn them and declare them a lost cause.

I’m probably in way over my head in this, but someone out there needs to hear and understand this.

It’s all about Mercy. Not that of what we receive, but the unconditional Mercy we are instructed to offer everyone, especially those we disagree with.

You are correct in that it is offered to everyone, but not everyone receives it. Some aren't looking for it, nor want it. Mercy is not to be confused with acceptance of unrighteous behavior.

Well sir, "you" may be in over your head, but the Holy Spirit absolutely put a strong word out through you and your post sir!

That video is a pretty song, but it is filled with emotion and sinful attitudes... THAT is not God's love, that is lust.

That go along to get along attitude is a sure spiral downward into the pit of darkness. Darkness is overtaking America (and the world for that matter) right now at an alarming rate, and our Nation just gave its "voter" approval of it.

Here is how we are to go straight out of God's Word...

Mat 7:12 "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Mat 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
Mat 7:14 "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Some call this group of verses The Golden Rule...
Read through it carefully. Pay careful attention to the last half of Verse 14... To me, that is one of the most frightful verses in the Bible!! The gate is small (narrow) and FEW FIND IT!!

What the world needs now is an awakening to who God IS. For God IS LOVE... That is NOT an emotion. It is a way of life and living. I don't know many people who are living it either, myself included, though I sure do try... I fail at it miserably daily to the point, it has given me callouses on my knees.

There is Heavenly Mercy in which none of us deserve, and as believers we are to have mercy on others of this world. Mercy not to judge, mercy to maybe not understand but still love, mercy to accept what is not acceptable. Who among us can seriously look at another and claim they are unworthy of mercy due to his or her actions. If they don't receive the mercy you have freely given and they punch you in the face, offer them the other cheek.

Kinda hard to swallow, but that is are true calling while we are on this Rock.

We may not be differing in opinion as much as we're saying different things. I will always offer love, mercy, forgiveness and blessing upon those who want it. For those who refuse I will not stand by and allow their unrighteous choices and behaviors teach and preach to others that an evil choice is a proper choice. Mercy will be an option at that point when they are ready to receive it. Shake the dust off, if you will. The world needs love and mercy but sometimes it very well needs a good rebuke, which also comes from love. Like it or not, it's also our calling.

Absolutely agree, was just speaking on Mercy. We must all Disciple and try to save those that are lost and speak into those that choose a different path. The hard part for me is not letting ones heart get hard over that, but granting some mercy for what they are going through. “Free Will” is a crazy thing.
