I’m a little colorblind but I don’t see any beans in that pot of chili. I think the cans are a decoy.

I always use Blakes seasonings in my chili and won numerous competitions. When I cook for competitions I do not add beans however when I am cooking for my own dinning pleasure I add beans. Robinhood, your a good man brother.

I am more laid back than I thought... I actually like it with beans and without beans. But it sure is good when your spoon it over some Fritos!

You know Mary, we might want to get some Ragin' Blaze Chili seasoning. Our biggest issue will be what to put in it - whitetail or axis!

I don't get worked up over the bean part. But over fritos is always great!

I had leftovers yesterday over some Fritos with cheese [emoji16]
And still have enough leftovers to make enchiladas either tomorrow or Saturday

Chile con carne or chile gravy for enchiladas is different than chili. The refried or borrachos come on the side.

                  Carry on.

Thanks for the reminder I need to re-up. Also the other day I had 4 chicken breast to cook, put them in the crockpot pot with all the other ingredients and had shredded chicken chilli. It was awesome as well

Just like bananas don’t compliment chili- but beans do.

I understood the analogy, I'm pulling your leg. My yankee mother put not only beans but potatoes, sugar, and other nonsense in her "chili" while I was growing up.

My preference is for a proper bowl of red: cubed beef chuck, rehydrated peppers made into a paste, onions, cumin, beef stock, and salt and pepper, but to each their own.

It’s all good bro. I’m just having fun with the situation. lol. Most of the time I put them in there and post pics to get the bean nazis riled up. [emoji16]
Growing up, my mom put beans and potatoes in her chili to make it go farther and we never complained

Well, instead of making a new post with the same message, Ragin Blaze wins over another family! Made it on this snowy Sunday and it is the highest regarded chili I have ever made! My family loves it!
