Good one, reminds me of advice I heard one time “You know how to get rid of Johnson grass? … Move!”

To answer op question, Cascade Powder dishwasher detergent has worked OK for me on shower soap scum. Make a mix of this with water to be about like toothpaste, then scrub it on with Dobie pad, then rinse. No harsh chemicals, just a little elbow grease and shower wall and glass look will darn near new. Good luck.

Have you tried mr clean magic erasers?

I’m not sure what kind of witchcraft are in those things, but they will wipe off a tattoo!

The only cleaning product you need is full strength pre soak, like they use at a carwash. It is mixed about 100:1 at the carwash, but I mix it about 4:1. I put it in a pump up sprayed and spray our trucks and let it sit about a minute, then pressure wash. Just a warning it could damage finishes, I haven't had any issue yet.

Rinse ans maybe repeat. Works way better than bleach, scrubbing bubbles, or any other cleaner I’ve tried.

If it’s a scale built up this should cut it. The pH of vinegar is about 2.5 so it should be acidic enough to break down the scale assuming it’s calcium or magnesium from the water.

Vinegar and baking soda made ours look like new . I was prepared to replace all of the shower glass but this was amazing and required very little elbow grease .

We keep a brush that has this mixture in the handle inside the shower. A couple times a week we brush the walls or corners for 20-30 seconds while taking a shower. Really seems to help

This is what I use on my glass shower. Only thing I have found that worked. I have the brush for the drill, and I have used the vinegar/dish soap, and every other cleaner, and nothing comes close to the ease of the bar keepers friend powder.

Dawn and Vinegar. I usually make it a little more soapy with more Dawn, and use a broom to kind of paint it on the surfaces of the tub. Leave it overnight, and come back the next day with a razor blade and it all just scrapes off.

The secret is keeping whatever solution you are using in contact with the surface. Place paper towels over all surfaces and spray them until wet with 50/50 vinegar solution. Leave them for an hour and throw them away. This removes the soap scum/scale. Then place paper towels down again and spray down with 50/50 water bleach solution and leave for an hour. This removes the mold. Throw away paper towels and rinse. No scrubbing required.

                            Shower Cleaning Tips Needed

Best thing we ever did was get rid of shower glass and go to walk in all time showers.

In your instance for the glass Kaboom as mentioned has worked well. For the pan with the soap scum and grime we always used a concoction of Tilex and comet to get that clean but still required plenty of elbow grease.

Bartenders friend cleaner - kind of like comet but without the bleach. Cleans hard water better than anything else and isn't that harsh
