I was planning to go to LOP this morning, but when I looked out the window at 7AM, the fog was so thick I couldn't see 100 yards. I went back to sleep and hit Fork after lunch. I've never been on LOP other than 2 nighttime bowfishing trips 30 years ago. I hate to make that trip alone, and don't know where to go on that lake.

Did pretty good off some Brush piles in Marlin Lake this morning.

9-10' seemed to be where they were. Slow bite. But happy to be out and fishing with Cajun Ginger in shorts on NYE!

Although that is a monster slab in your live well, you do need to change your live well opening. I had to look twice to make sure that wasn't a toilet bowl in the pic.

I went fishing on LOP for the first time today, and only caught 4. None over 1.5#. I did have over a dozen follow my jig then turn away. The boat show consisted of about 40 boats at 10AM and by 3PM there were only 4 boats remaining. I gave my 4 fish to two guys who said it was a slow day, they were locals and only had 12.
At the ramp I talked to another local and he had only caught about 6. Both of those boats were using Livescope.
