        If I retired arrows after kills I'd have hundreds laying around.
        If the crack or break they are gone.
        Other than that clean, refletch if needed, sharpen, repeat.

          I've never flex tested arrows. At the beginning of last season I had an arrow break when it hit the edge of the target. I thought to myself, "that's weird". I flex tested the other 8 or so arrows in my case and I had 2 more break....

          I'll flex test before every target practice from now on...

            I learned my lesson the hard way. Years ago I shot and had an arrow powder on me and had shards hit the back of my grip hand. Nothing went it too deep, but it could have been bad. Scared me. I went and pulled my arrows from the target, and walking back I instinctively flexed my arrows. One snapped right where the other one broke. Retired the whole lot of those Victory arrows right there, and went back to my Eastons. But you bet I flex them walking back now.

            I have had others crack and snap since too. Doesn't take much of a flex either.
