What's the longest you've gone without showering?

While in the Marines, several occasions while in the field we had enough water to drink or bathe, but not both (this was pre-wipe days - I'm old). Probably 3-4 weeks at a stretch was not uncommon. Fortunately, I don't need to make the decision how to use the water any more . . .

Two weeks while backpacking in Utah and Arizona. When we finally came out of the backcountry, we ate at the first restaurant we saw. They seated us in a separate room. ��

Good old lister bag/canteen baths. Long before baby wipes

two days max for me. I have to have at least a sponge bath on hunting trips. Lots of respect for the military boys!

Do steel pot “baths” negate 3 weeks In the field with no shower? When the burners were out with water it was glorious. Kevlar ended that.

Any bath in the field is good. On the rare occasions that we stopped for the night I’d find a pond on the map and lead a recon patrol to scout and secure the pond for a bath.
It’s amazing how it would lift morale.
