Handy item

I just added a new item to my “handy dandy, keep it handy” list of things to carry in my lease carry backpack. Picked up a package of those cheap little break and shake lights at halloween. Used them this year while following a blood trail after dark. Made trailing a bit easier by dropping one at the first blood and so on. I put a pack in each of my son’s stockings this year. This may not be new to you but it was to me.

that's a good idea. I was helping a buddy track a deer after dark this season as was thinking we needed something like this.

Been using them for years. Get them cheap at Dollar General.

I use toilet paper, 1 it's Good to have just in case and 2 I can leave it on a blood trail and don't have to worry about littering

I know a lot of guys that used to use them as corks for fishing at night. Back in the 80s, we used to always have some around. They were helpful, I have not seen them in a long time.

Handy item

I keep 4 of these twist on glow sticks in my pack. They last a looooong time. I still have one in my pack we left out overnight at last blood when we backed out one night and it still is as bright as when I set it up.
