    Small feed pens

What’s the smallest feed pen a person could get away with? I’m looking for options in areas that It wouldn’t be feasible to haul it all on an atv or a truck and trailer. Remote areas with many creeks to cross. I would have to haul everything in by hand making several trips. I’m just trying to keep out hogs, no cattle. Thanks

Good luck.....even the minimum 4 - 16' panels, and that's really too small IMO, that sounds like a nutkick.. 8-10 minimum

I wouldn't go any smaller than 8 pig panels!

U would also need 16 Tpost

I have a dozen hand corn pens that are just two panels split. So that makes 16x16 pen 20ish inches tall. My bucks love them. Wont work for feeder pens though.

I’m not looking to run a feeder, just dumping corn in them.

Get two 52” cattle panel and split them with bolt cutters. They be 26” tall and you can run a strand of barb wire around the top as well.

I chopped 10’ t-post in thirds so they aren’t so tall.
Drag in panels, then drag in the short post & tools in a small plastic sled.

Why not haul in some t-posts and a roll of barbed wire? This would save you the hassle of moving cattle panels.

But it’ll keep out the cows he stayed he doesn’t have in the first post.

I really like this idea. I think I can pull this off easily. I owe you a beer next time I’m in Longview. [emoji106]

Old dude on our lease (83 year old lease boss) has a 16’x16’x16’x16’ cattle panel pen. He sees just as much and kills just as much as anyone on that side of the lease

Me on the other hand say as big as you can feasibly put up. Mine is 64’ along each side
