      Cant see any shavings. Top pic is a typical example of an early season rub, the sapling has seeped and crusted over. If these rubs are all in the same locale, it would be worth looking into.

      GG noticed the pine needles, they will stay greener longer than leaves. Some times several weeks. It would make since they were rubbed after the rut, if yalls rut is mid November. Just a guess.

        Yep pine needles on ground are still really green it was tended to within last few days from the look of things
