Ok workout Gurus... stationary bike or treadmill

Ok looking at getting something for the house. My knees aren’t the best so kinda leaning toward the Bike. Leaning toward the Bowflex Velcore with 16” monitor. What’s y’all thought

I'm no expert but I have been using a recumbent bike for years. With my current drive, I finally got to a place where I could put it to the side and walk on my own outside for long distances. The recumbent with a wide seat is much more comfortable than a standard stationary bike and I could ride longer.

Not a fan of treadmills. If I can walk on a treadmill, I'm walking outside.

A bike. It’s low to no impact on the knees.

I like the Schwinn Airdyne Pro bikes. More full body. Low impact, so easier on the joints than running (even on a treadmill). Concept2 rowing machine is another option.

            Have you thought about rowing?

With my size, the recumbent bike was very doable and easy on the knees/hips/back .........heck everything for that matter until I could move outside..

                ..

For just cardio I prefer a elliptical over both.

Agreed treadmills are worthless them bikes seem good - have some friends that waited months for their peloton to get delivered to break on them within a few sessions. That’s my cool story bro moment bike is the way to go

Illiotibial band. It runs along the outside of your thigh from the bony part of your hip to just below the knee.

My wife went with the Nordictrack S22i and we both enjoy it.
