Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night
My oldest doesn't want to go to sleep
She's trying to catch Santa.
The youngest tried as well but was unsuccessful at around 730, LOL
Just me and Makers out front tending the fire while they are in the cabin playing dodgeball with Mr. Sandman.Last edited by texansfan; 12-24-2020, 10:25 PM.

Yeah, way too many people worry about what they are getting...material things, instead of thinking about the blessings they already have. This is especially evident to me this time of year.
My kids will rattle off I want this or I want that. I tell them all I'm hearing is "I want". Well, I WANT them to realize what is truly important...our Savior, family and friends. If you have those, most everything else will fall into place. I think they'll get it one day.

I'm thankful my wife's sister went to the guest room and went to bed
but I'm most thankful for the gift to understand the true meaning of Christmas, thinking about what our Savior brought to the world, how he gave it all for us, and His plans to return to make it right. Merry Christmas to all

While I ain’t as eloquent at speaking as some of you folks, I am blessed beyond belief.
I am thankful every day that my family has stayed healthy throughout this year. My wife works in healthcare and is around the Rona on almost a daily basis but thank GOD she has not gotten it. I can’t say just how blessed I am to have her in my life.
I am thankful for all of my kids and grandkids and their ability to say healthy.
I am thankful that my wife and I have remained employed throughout all of this year.
We are truly blessed to have been able to build our dream forever home and to have all of our kids and grandkids come to our house is a great blessing as well.
And I am most thankful to have a great relationship with Jesus and know that He is the one that makes all of our blessings possible.

As we look back on the challenges, medically, physically, politically and logistically of 2020, it reminds Lisa and I, that we are very lucky to have God, family, friends and each other to lean on through one of the craziest years of our lives. We have been very blessed in that area whether it be via phone, text, TBH, FB, or in person and we wanted to just say thank you for being there everybody! Happy to have our health and that of several family members and friends on the mend and looking forward to getting on with this thing called life in a healthier and happier fashion. We don’t know what the future holds but we are going to keep on trying to improve it and spend more time doing things with those that matter. In an odd way, in hindsight, we are thankful for these 2020 challenges. What an eye opener and blessing some of them have turned out to be despite the less than favorable changes and times.
