    Yep. Exactly what I used on this one. It was bad. The pot I’m doing next isn’t bad. Just surface rust and dust from sitting in a barn. Should clean up fairly easy with a solution.
    But the pan.....needed a little persuasion

      My big a lodge had a couple bumps in it that a spatula would hang on. I put a little oil in it and rubbed it smooth with a whet stone then cleaned and cooked a pound of bacon. She cooks right now!

        I think there’s a lot of times I could get by not using soap. Heck a lot of times just wiping it out seems fine, but since it literally does zero harm to use soap....

            Just season it. I'm currently doing some too. That Wagner is going to be better than the Lodge. After a 20 min cool down I could pick up the Lodge but the Wagner was still too hot.
