I’ve never run feeder pens but we don’t have a bad hog problem.

We do have a Javi problem and have at least 60 on a few hundred acres.

The reason I don’t want pens is it’s our property and I bring lots of folks from Louisiana who have no idea what a Javi is. They have a 100% kill rate when I bring them down for does and Javis they love it.

If I don’t bring them I’d be at the ranch by myself for 5 to 6 days at a time.


We still kill good deer without the pens and sometimes get a Nilgai.

My group took over a place- there may be a possibility that we might have an opening left come late January if 1 of our guys decides he can’t/ doesn’t want to do it. If so I will post that we are looking for someone. We will be very selective and will absolutely not be a first come first serve, but will have to be the right fit with our group.
