    Question for the arrow experts

I was gifted some Easton 3-60/340 superlite ACC’s and a bow from my wife’s uncle because he was having shoulder issues. I went to have some new fletchings and nocks put on the arrows, and the local bow shop told me these were target arrows, rather than hunting arrows. Who hunts with these and what would make them a target arrow? The weight? The uncle was an avid hunter, so I’m surprised that he would drop that sort of coin on an arrow that wasn’t intended for hunting. I just don’t know enough about anything made in the last decade and half to dispute this.

Sounds like they are a target shaft, smaller diameter. Only problem I see is thread size could be smaller. If you can get broadheads to fit, and they shoot accurately for you, go for it. If not sell them and get what works.

Well, I’ve been hunting with these exact shafts for 20 plus years. Maybe more. Countless animals killed. If they are over 27” long, I’ll take them off your hands and you can purchase some “real” hunting shafts.

One, if not the best arrow shafts made for hunting period!

You need to find a new shop!

It’s not really my shop. It’s just “local”. I go there for any quick stuff I need. There are many threads related to my local shop. Guy was pleasant. Just got me second guessing my equipment.
