I don't know the answer to that and agree it was time for Tommy Sledge to go, but surely you can agree that this seems like at least a little bit of a panic hire/stretch.

True, but surely Texas is in a situation where they are not hiring guys for do overs on their career? This one is a head scratcher to me. It very well could work out, but the track record is certainly not great.
