I need some suggestions on were to by snake boots for my seven year old, or do I need to get him the hard plastic chaps? Thanks!!!

The hard plastic chaps are HOT and are a booger to walk in. I bought my son a pair of Cordura nylon snake chaps. They attach to your belt,an are adjustable in length, so they have been able to grow with him. If his feet EVER stop growing, (he's 14 and wears a size 15)
, I'm going to get him a pair of Justin snake boots.

I personally would get boots - what if he steps on one and it bites his foot? Chaps would be good also - what if he steps a big one and it flares up and strikes him in the thigh?Comment
