Container cabins .....

Has anyone bought one of X-Caliber container cabins?

I'm looking at selling my 2014 camper and upgrading to one of their 20' cabins.
Thoughts????

I’m sure they are nice, but seem extremely overpriced. $20k for a 20’. I bought a 10’x24’ barn and finished it out for a cabin, I have less than $8k in it. You could buy a container and finish it out yourself for a third of the price of one of those.

I looked into those as well, but decided to spend some more money and build a 2 bedroom cabin.

I bought a new 20' container from Aztec (they were cheaper and had better service in my area than XCaliber). Its a really nice container but I wouldn't want to sleep in it.

I helped a friend (semi) finish out a couple 40 footers. Windows, door, AC, electric, spray foam insulation, and flooring. Probably only spent about 10K total for both. No plumbing in either (that’s in a separate building) but otherwise, very livable.

X2 on money and ease of build out. Just built out a 40' which I would suggest you go with

How do you move it though? A 20' you can have a flatbed wrecker move.
