    Tamales

We normally buy from Delia’s and have them shipped to us but they have suspended their online ordering. Any other recommendations in DFw area or anywhere that ships? I know a lot of places that sell them but they’re just average. Any suggestions would be helpful.

IN....we use to do the same. In fact, I use to travel to the Valley fairly regularly for business. I would bring back several dozens on the plane every trip. My entire family loves them. The cream cheese and jalapeño are the freakin BOMB!
Haven’t found any in the DFW area that compare to be honest.

Call Big E's smokehouse in Brownsville. They have smoked brisket, smoked pork, and smoked chicken tamales that are the best ive ever tasted. I believe they ship but you need to check.

These are the best in our neck of the woods. If they will ship them, I think you won’t be disappointed

Ditto on Granny’s, they are my go to tamale dealer. I take my javalinas to them for conversion and they are awesome.

My wife made 3 dz the other day with Axis roast and brisket mixed together, so good. Except I only got 2 of them and she sent some home with her sister and then froze the rest for other family members. I wondering when I became so unimportant? lol
Headed out this morning to get some more masa.

HEB has some really good ones in the deli section. They are not frozen. Big fat ones like out in El Paso. There is a place in Pecos that is better than Delia's. Big fat ones too.
