I second this, I have an area that I consistently have big deer on camera, but it is a new growth tallow thicket. Not any trees to hang a stand in so I have been attempting to hunt it out of a tripod. Works fine for younger deer, but the mature ones come in and have me picked off. I will make the plunge and get one sooner rather than later hopefully.
There is no way possible I would have killed my buck this year without it. I knew I had the complete wrong wind to hunt that spot, like literally blowing directly toward the area, but was confident if I kept all the windows closed the whole time I would be okay. He came in, fed around completely calm and when he was almost in position I cracked open a window, he turned broadside and I let it fly.
I hsd a customer call me today about ordering some new blinds. They bought a bunch 4 or 5 years ago. Turns out they are killing some giants in east Texas. Got me thinking about other deer killed out of my blinds. Would love to see pictures of bucks killed out of Krivomans.
Also let me know if they are from older mold or my new ones from this year.
GO.....
Do your newer molds have the door frame lowered so it's easier to get into? I know you have discussed that in the past. I guide a lot of people and it would make it way easier to get into and out of. Especially if the person is large or elderly.
