Lease hunting

I know, lots of people are. I’m looking for in a perfect world 500-1000 acres not being hunted, or group is getting off and would take the entire place. We aren’t really looking to join a club or existing group. We aren’t antisocial by any means but we have our own group that is really too large to try and join an existing group. It would be my brothers family and mine taking it. A cabin would be great or at least water and electricity with the option to build a cabin. Looking for long term opportunity. We have all of our own equipment. Very seasoned hunters and our kids are young adults. We will spend the money to improve the land and wildlife quality given the opportunity and if the potential is there. Looking to stay within 4 hours of Montgomery (this is roughly an hour north of Houston) preferably along I-45 and to the west.

I know many are looking for the same but I have to try. Please PM me if you have anything or know of a landowner. What we are willing to spend depends on many variables so please let me know what you have.

Leases have gotten outrageous. All hunters should ban together and stop leasing. After a couple of years the landowners will lower their prices. Let me know when you stop leasing and where it is.
