I was told the warden shot the cat on an older mans property that was losing calves in the area and thought it was possible that it was the same cat seen in Wolfe City. The pic I saw of it made the cat look pretty big/healthy. Supposedly weighed 162 lbsLast edited by Jesus is Coming; 12-15-2020, 06:35 AM.

Can you post a link Curt please. I think Im interwebing wrong. I see no Articles...just titles, subtitles, chapters and sections. I dont think chapter 5, title 41, sec 41.003 applies to this conversation...but confused if and how it does.
Thanks for the info MrCurt.
Thanks for the backstory MrAW
Thanks for posting the pic and thread MrBlakJax

Based off sightings, cattle kills, etc I think they've been in E TX all of my life to a small degree. They are very reclusive and probably the stealthiest wild animal in N America. Getting an eyeball on em would be very, very rare, especially when hunting in thickets or bottom lands. I don't think there's very many to see and, on top of that, they are a heckuva lot harder to spot in heavy cover vs the more open terrain of W TX. But anyone who thinks there "are no cats W of I-35" is being a bit obtuse or practicing cognitive dissonance.
