Anyone participated in the TYHP through TPWD?

I haven't seen a thread about the Texas Youth Hunter Program but I was just made aware of the program recently so there may have been threads before that I didn't pay attention to.
Anyone taken their kid on one of their hunts and if so, what was your opinion about it?
