I’ve spent 12 hours in a stand since daybreak yesterday and have yet to see anything worth shooting. Fingers crossed!

I gotta build me a couple of them blinds this year. It’s gotta be nice to stay dry and have a place for a heater.

Just got back from a 4 hour stalk in the creek bottoms for hogs. I hit one big guy at 10 yds in the thick bramble. Figured I could smash through all the vines and small bushes with the 458. Hog reared back on his hind legs and screamed and dropped and scrambled out of there. I looked for a while, never found him. Scared up more but with no leaves on the vine and a lot on the ground it is hard to get the sneak on them!
