I’ve been seeing these around my place the last few days.
Is this a stink bug?

Bug ID
I've always thought they were stink bugs but after a quick Google they are actually a kind of Dock bug like stated before. Apparently stink bugs that look similar to that are native to Asia and have been an invasive species since the 90s who knew

Thanks for the replies. I have a lot of pines on my place , but I suppose there is something growing around here that they like to feed on.

My daughter found a few around our house a couple of weeks ago. I incorrectly told her it was a stink bug so now I'll have to correct my ID.

Every kid in Galveston county called them stink bugs when we were kids because they stink if you step on one.

Leaf footed but. Not an actual stink bug, but stink like hell if you squish it.
