Covert AW1-A (ATT)

I looked at them. I have a few Code Blacks. These look similar to them, but the AW1 has no controls or screen on the camera. The only way to adjust the settings is through the app on your phone with the camera connected to your app. Appears to be the main difference.

Yes this is the main difference. Their is no display on the camera. Not sure I like that.

As with any issues on Covert or Spartan, the screen is needed to diagnose and fix issues.

I am glad I sold all my coverts for what I paid and bought Spartans. Happy I did

Until you have an issue.

Which then how do you fix/reset when you can't see what your doing?

Spend $50 more and get a way better camera in the SPartan LTE

Just looking for a cheaper way to add more.

All my current ones are Code Blacks except for one "E1", which I don't like because I CAN'T manipulate it from the app.

I saw that sale. I was highly suspicious why they were $100 off. I run three Coverts now.

I may get another. But, with no screen etc I think I will pass on the $100 off deal. I basically gave the E1 I had away. Hated that thing.

I hear yall. I had 5 and slowly sold all mine for dang near what I paid. As yall know, their CS is awesome. SO when they went bad they shipped me a brand new one then I sold it.

I love the Spartans so much better. Better pic quality and sensor/width of pic, not to mention much better quality.

I think a tad more. Per Spartan camera I pay:

Annually $36 for app, $74 for service. So $110 a camera per year.


This includes unlimited HD pics and I have never run out of pics.

Mine is $25 per quarter (3 mos) for one camera. Then $15 per quarter for ea additional camera.

8 cameras costs me $516 per yr. Allowed 25k pics per quarter.
