A two year old cutting horse sold today at the NCHA Futurity sales for $1,050,000. Someone is obviously not scared of a Biden economy

My best friend was the one that bought the horse today. He wants something he buys it. Nicest guy in the room. He will pay for that horse and make plenty more with her. It was cool watching the owners reaction to the bidding. Ended up getting off her and hugged her crying. Cool moment

                        Wow.

I’ll admit, the first thing that came to mind was some people have more dollars than sense. I’m not into the horse/rodeo scene at all. Is there really enough money in it to make that kind of money back off the horse? Would that be from its foals or what?
