    Keeping your eye in !!!!

Well its been about a month since my trip to Texas to see Skylar at the Diamond C for some hog hunting, I took 3 nice pigs with my Diamond Marquis, but my attention has turned to my 2009 Admiral setup. I am having bow hunting withdrawl symptoms, I am a hog hunting addict.

2009 Admiral 70lbs 29" DL 390gr Beman ICS hunter Elite 27.5" long, 400spine with 100gr tips and Fobs, 286fps. It has Vaportrail strings and a few other bits and bobs.

Since I cant hunt here I have been flinging 200-300 arrows on a night time (5 days a week) to keep me shooting straight and getting me intune with the Admiral. I never really warmed to the bow but its has finally clicked and my
3d Hog is suffereing badly. Heres my now blasted hog getting some arrows from 25yards.

When I visit Texas next March unless I have bought a 2010 bow its likely the Admiral will be joining me, I just hope Skylar and his Mathews Dren can try and match my Bowtech and me as he failed terribly this year.

Heres the bow and broadhead I have chosen to try next time around 100gr Atoms.

Keep the pics, videos and hunting stories coming chaps its no fun with no hunting allowed. I check out the green screen and really enjoy my 2nd hand hunting adventures through you.

P.S If anyone could give Skylar some shooting tips as when I return he needs to shoot a lot straighter.

If you shot a Mathews, it wouldn't take so long to warm up to your bow! LOL

          LOL

I like single cams and was leaning towards a Reezen, but I might hang fire as the Admiral is hooting very nice at the moment.

Theres lots of great bows out there.

We cant hunt any animals with bows, so we normally pop over the pond or Africa. I really like hog hunting so Texas is always going to be a great destination for me.

The UK is a very anti hunting in general these days, you can use rifles etc but we have very strict firearms laws.
