I am sorry to hear this sir, late last year i had to put my red heeler Juno down and man i still miss her. She was committed to me so deeply that it was unreal. Cancer is ultimately what did her in as well, like you i knew when it was time.

I had to do the same thing just last week, on my birthday of all days. Ranger the boxer dog was there for all 3 of my kids births and helped raise them. It's tough man. They aren't here nearly long enough. Im sorry for your loss.Comment

Sorry for your loss. I currently have a special dog now that is approaching 7 years of age. I don't know if I will ever own a lab that will mean more to me or my family than my current dog. I suspect you are in the same boat. Once the pain wears off you will be left with great memories and hopefully will want a new pup.Comment
