    Pop up camping tents

    Hey folks,
A few of y’all know that I have a special needs son. He is 26 now, loves the outdoors, sitting in pop ups or hard stands , and snacks! I love my son and spending time with him, but I need to simplify our hunting trips. He doesn’t understand that camping out will be a lot different from getting a shower, nice bed, everything you have in a hotel.
I’m open to the camping thing but admit that while liking the amenities of a hotel I hate what comes afterwords, the bill! I’m grateful for my son and would like some pics of yalls pop up tents if any. I need something quick and easy. It can get challenging trying to get Caleb to understand what we’re trying to do sometimes.
Would also like recommendations for cots, tent brands that we can stand up in, self inflating mattresses, basically everything y’all use in your set up. I can google all the above but prefer first hand information regarding how equipment performs. Thanks for any leads

      Pop up camping tents

Look at all the “ez up” type tents
I bought one last year for a youth hunt and I really liked it
I can’t remember which one (brand) I bought but in my opinion it’s the only way to go. 5 minutes and your tent is up

I have a Coleman instant tent. I can have it set up in under 5 minutes.

Make sure you buy one rated for 2-4 times the number of people you plan to sleep in it. My son snd I use a 6 person tent. We are both 6’4” and I wish I had an 8 person size.

For a camp shower I bought one of these off of Amazon. $40 and it has two chargeable battery packs. I warm up water on the Coleman and pour into a 5gal bucket. I put

I don’t own one but have been inside a few, kodiak 10x10 or 10x14. Very solid tent, relatively easy to set up and plenty room to stand and have cots. I will be buying one in a few years when my kids start joining me on my hunts.

The shower nozzle is a good idea. We just used an old cooler and opened the drain, but this would work better.

Also consider making your own tent frame out of PVC so you can make it how you want it. Once you've precut the tarps (or other material) to the right sizes, you should be able to break it down and put it up pretty quickly.
