For anybody who lives in the Houston area. The property is off Beltway 8 and close to West Lake Houston parkway. May be a long shot but I am going to try and lease (Bow Only) the land between the beltway and Duessen Park. Tons of deer and some monsters.

Almost 1,800 acres all one owner with the TPWD owning land that attaches to it.

If you can pull that off it will truly be a hunters miracle!
But nothing is impossible I suppose, best of luck

If I can pull it off I’ll definitely be adding a few people from the Houston area if allowed. 1,800 acres is a lot of land especially for the suburban area. I have to drive past it every day on the way to work.

I figured you would have to add some. Also figured you probably had some people in mind. I was just tossing it out there that I'd be very interested, and I'm not too far away.

If you are taking names, I would appreciate being added to that list....

Side note, I tried hard to get some Army Corp land opened up on the west side of Houston, with some absolute monsters in there, and no public trails. No luck whatsoever. I hope a private landowner is more willing.

Have a few people in mind. However, right now just more worried about getting the opportunity to lease it. If the opportunity comes and I am able to lease. I will be looking to fill the few spots with highly experienced bow hunters more than a group of my buddies. Also would prefer people be within a 30-45 min drive from the property. I am only 10-15 min away

That might kick me out, I'm about an hour, hour fifteen from there.

Did a little research, property is owned by a private property investment/management company.
I’m going to fax them, email them and call them. Even possibly go as far as looking up the owner and VP of the company on Facebook and messaging them there as well. Haha
