Thought I remember someone on here that had some nilgai hunts for a decent price. Looking for 2-3. Trophies or just meat hunt is fine

Mariposa Ranch is about as cheap as it gets with a high success rate. From what I remember it’s a day guide rate plus kill fee for bulls/cows.

I had a good inexpensive hunt with Kayote Barrera. Best I can tell he just brokers the hunts for ranches and guides. I’ve got his phone number if you want it.

I booked thru Koyote and was guided by the brother of JT Safari. The guide did a great job. The dealings with Koyote were a bit sketchy but I did get to hunt 2 days and I did get a Nilgai so it worked out, for $1200 I can deal with some sketchy.

I had a hunt booked with Kayote a year or so ago. Cancelled as was just waaaaay too sketchy for me. Just a ton of red flags with that guy and an ever changing story on the hunts....

That's exactly how my hunt went. Never saw the guy. Sometimes communication was slow but we went 2 for 2 on nilgai. I forget my guides name but he said he's mostly a fishing guide. We killed out the last morning of the hunt. They had already offered for us to come back if we never had an opportunity.
