Lab shows that it is Scynovial sarcoma . He contacted a specialist who only handles that type at MD Anderson. I think some insurance issues came up , I am not sure where it stands right now.
That cancer rocks link up above is interesting stuff. I will ready more of it tonight.
Prayers up. That’s what’s good about MD they have the Drs that specialize in the specific diseases. The problem I had last year effected 6 to 8 people out of 100,000 I was told and they took care of me. Point I am making he is in the right place.

Prayers for your Dad and see if you can get an appointment at MD Anderson. I am sure they are familiar with that diagnosis.

Tomorrow is the first day of chemo. They put in a port last week. One week of continuous and then three weeks off it. Three total
                      Rounds.
Thank y’all again for the prayers.

my brother had synovial sarcoma. Started with a knot on his hip that he thought was a boil. Went to doctor to have it lanced and she was worried it might be the C word. Sure enough before he was done with the chemo and radiation and before surgery it was the size of a half a football. It had already gone to his lungs. He fought for 3.5 years. He was on an experiment drug from MD Anderson. Synovial Sarcoma is a rare form and usually is around joints in the body.

That’s what I have read , that it ends up in the lungs not starts there. A pet scan as not been done but a cat scan was done in the torso area. No other tumors were seen.

That’s a blessing Mike that no other tumors were found. Maybe they can kill this mess. Hate it. Prayer for for peace that exceeds all understanding, strength to walk through this, and healing for your dad.

I was thinking about you the other day Mike. And wondering how you've been. My prayers are with your Dad for healing. And with you for peace at heart.
