We bought a champion dual fuel that heavy and loud and used way too much fuel..

Sold it and bought the Predator 3500, runs the RV all weekend on less than 5 gallons of gas, can move it myself, start right up and super freakin quiet!

Best thing we ever did for camping!

Same.(..minus the buddy.) Been running mine on my camper several years with no issues. I bought two smaller ones so the wife could handle and load them.

I tried to buy some Hondas from a dealer and they said “Go to Harbor Freight”. They were right.

I think there is a huge difference in a generator versus an inverter. I would not run a generator on any of my appliances. Something about dirty power.

3500 Inverter Predator for our off the grid camping. 13500 BTU AC runs great.

I used to work at a Harbor Freight and can attest that the Predator engine is basically the same make as a bigger name that has the initials B&S. The biggest issue we ever had with people returning generators is that the inverter or an outlet broke, although judging the the type of people who brought them in I would say 50% of the time it was operator error. The engine will run forever as long as you keep up with the maintenance.

The biggest downside with the HFT generators is that getting parts for them if something were to break is really difficult compared to how easy it is for the name brands. That goes for any Harbor Freight product, they basically do not have a parts/service department.

I have bought alot of 4500 champion generators from tractor supply, and they are great. They will run 8-15 hours on 3 gallons of gas depending on the load. We will literally run one 12 hours a day, everyday, for 3 months before they run into problems which is alot more than the average person will use it.

I have never bought one from harbour freight but I'm interested in the reviews.

I have a predator 3500 i run my camper off of it. Currently it has about 200 hours on it between camper and bow fishing from my boat.

All I have done is change the oil almost time to clean the spark arrester.

I keep marine 360 stable in it and run it every month

Mine is not very loud at all. I built a small cover for it with a roof and 2 sides and you can easily carry on a normal conversation standing next to it. It is about 15' from the camper and inside you can barely hear it running.
