    Same buck?

The top photo is only one of two I got of him. Never saw the buck that season. Wondering if it could be the same buck. How old would y’all say he is in both pics? I know they aren’t the best

Going by the horns only I would say yes. Are there any scars on the body you could use?

No. I will tell you the pics are three years apart. I think he is a lot older than he looks now

Doesn't loo like it to me. While you could make the argument on the tops, the brows don't normally change that dramatically.

This is the only other pic I got in 2017. I nicknamed it the browning buck from this pic!

That 3 years between pics makes a difference so I’m going to say no.

To me, maybe it’s lighting or partial body shot, the deer in the first picture looks at least as old or even older than the deer in the bottom picture, which dates pretty current.

So same deer? I doubt it. Deer in the 2nd picture being from the same blood line of that in the 1st picture? I could see that.

I would agree with Twist. Likely related, but to me first deer looks older, and that first picture was three years ago.

If it were the same buck how old in the first pic? I’ll try and get better pic this week. He has a pot belly and squared off rump. Haven’t gotten a good enough look other than pics

Should have killed him in 2017. Bad genes there
