Been busy and just realized I didn't post my buck. Heart of Texas Bowhunting has one of the best and most affordable bow hunts out there. We've been going for nearly 10 years now. Got this guy on the first afternoon and ended up being my best bow buck to date. Shot was a what I thought was a tad high and could not find blood for anything. After checking the arrow it was definitely organ blood. I backed out and we called the dog in for early the next morning. She found him piled up not 100 yards from where he was shot. Swhacker broadhead did the trick again and caught the lungs.
Always a great time out there. If you're looking for the chance to kill a great buck with your bow, give Kevin a call. It's not an easy hunt by any means, but very affordable in prime deer country.
