    Annual Unit 11 Live Hunt

    Here we go boys and girls, my 2020 Unit 11 Kansas live hunt. Going to start today in Franklin County and move to Linn County starting tomorrow.
    Cool Temps, gusty winds, and clear skies are what we have this morning. About to head to the woods to get settled. Looking to try and fill 3 tags this week. So this will be fun

      I made the 775 mile trip yesterday in under 12 hrs. Strong SSW wind pushed me on up. Weather is not ideal, but we both know these bucks will always move

        On stand swaying in the breeze. Nice and crisp with a gusty wind chill of 27*

              Big doe shot 10 min ago. Gonna give her about 20 more min before tracking.
              Shot looked good and she mule kicked.

                          Decent blood down to 2 small drops. Looks like a low brisket shot. A lot of white hair at the impact spot

                              Restarted the track 3 times with the same results. Last 2 small drops and then nothing. Grid searched the area and nothing. I have been watching this old doe for three years and she always bust me. It was my chance to take her out...
