Thinking of pulling the travel trailer and going camping around Thanksgiving - Sunday. Looking for something around a lake where I can get a little shore line fishing in. Need full hookup. Any recommendations?

Garner or Inks Lake were some of our fall favorites when our kids were young. -
Recreation.gov and search around for some COE parks. Won’t have sewer hookups but will have water/electric and a dump station. Lake Belton is close To you and nice COE parks there.
This close and it being a holiday, COE and State Parks might all be booked. It’s crazy how fast everything is booked, especially this year.
Only private park I have stayed at is Jellystone by close to Canyon Lake. Kid’s would like it and you would be close to Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe, but is a bit pricier than state parks. They are more likely to have availability though.Comment
