Well after my target buck slipped by me i never saw him again until last night. Caught him on a scrape coming back onto the farm.
Several good bucks survived out there so hopefully next season will be a success.

Ready for the heat to end and get plots in the ground and my butt in a tree.

28 days to go. Got a few cleaned up already.

I’ve got 4-5 bucks Ide sling and arrow at opening weekend. We will see if this summer pattern holds any after they all peel velvet. I doubt it.

Here we go, slipped in way early to a lock-on i hung a week ago by the bayou below my big food plots. Lots of bucks daylighting this spot. Glassed up 2 fighting in the moon light already and another pair of bucks came in to check it out. I can still make them out occasionally filtering through the thick overgrowth. Few more minutes and I’ll be able to see and maybe hit the grunt call
