Wilco buck down

Saw this guy Sunday and regretted not taking him. I hunted the last 2 days hoping I’d get another shot. 6:45 this morning he chased a doe through with no shot but she brought him back in and he stopped to freshen a scrape. Bad idea. first time using the 25/06 I picked up here he went 40-50yrds but I watched him crash with a great blood trail. He won’t score a lot but a cool looking older deer.

I had that and my 7-08 in the truck the last 2 days hadn’t killed with either. Been taking the 7-08 but this morning decided to take the 25/06. I’m a fan now
