    Identity Theft!

These suckers appear to have gotten me good. Dealing with company #4, which is Comcast. I have all of my home and office services through them, and they still allowed this to happen under my name and SS#. Way to protect your customers! I am sure this isn't the end of it. Any suggestions and experiences would be appreciated. I am slightly frustrated to put it lightly.

No help for a solution, but they hit me hard a few years ago. Went on a really nice shopping spree at Neiman Marcus, Saks, etc. before we could get everything shut down. They did have good taste, but it sure was a PITA to get fixed.

My green screen login is uncrackable. Unless you figure out my middle initial, 6 digit DOB, and social. I just don't understand how my personal information was stolen.

Happens all the time. It is not prosecuted until the $$$ meets certain amount. Then most are foreign thieves. I will say I am not far from becoming a cash only person. Only thing that is hard is rentals.

Word of advice. Put a permanent hold on all three credit bureaus. That way no one can open new accounts in your name. You'll be fighting this for years to come unfortunately. Ask me how I know. Sorry this happened to you.

Already done, and somehow I do not doubt this is going to be an ongoing issue. Any companies besides lifelock that handle this type of thing?

Not that I know of. Go file a police report and get a case#. You'll need it to ward off the debt collectors in the future. That is about the only thing that makes them stop...knowing you were serious enough to go file a police report.

Already done as well. However, the police report has to be supplemented with each new company
