Ill never forget that feeling. I was lucky enough to rent a house on 13 acres when I was stationed in Virginia. My oldest was 10 at the time and we had just moved in in October. Thanksgiving afternoon right before last shooting light, my oldest son had spotted a little 6pt in the backyard. 50yds from the kitchen window in his pajamas he lined up and took his first deer. That very next thanksgiving my youngest son took his first deer in the exact same spot almost the exact same time of day. Those were 2 very proud moments for me. I think I was more excited than either of them.

I know! I could almost forgo ever shooting another deer as long as I got to see my kids shoot theirs. Keyword: “almost”. LoL
