    Epoxy floor in Bedroom?

Looking to do our master bed/bath with a self leveling epoxy. I know its common for shop/garage floors. Anyone do it indoors?

Stuff they sell at Lowes any good? Or should I go to a commercial store?
Only doing about 300 ish sqft

I have the epoxy floor in my garage. It was there when we bought the house. I don't know if all epoxy floors are this way but it is extremely slippery. Any bit of water or sawdust and you have to be really careful.

We have epoxy floors in the offices here at my work. This has texture to it and is grippy. They sprinkled the granules on when its wet

One of the people who live out here where i do did it in their kitchen and bathroom. Think they got it from Sherwin Williams. It must have some texture to it, and it looks amazing.

Did my man cave with it. Super easy to do. It does scratch easy so keep that in mind. They may sell a coating to put in top that cuts down on scratching.

If you go this route you would want to make sure you add something to keep it from being slippery. Another thing is if you do it yourself, make sure you follow the directions to a T also be aware of any directions on temperature. Epoxy is very finicky and if it is not at the required temperature for it to set up and harden, then is will not harden level. You will end up seeing all sorts of divots from air bubbles that could not escape.

I did epoxy in my whole house it was a metallic epoxy. Google metallic epoxy. We used root beer and white then put a urethane coating on top with a non slip been in the house three years and has not scratched yet.

A buddy of mine has a youtube channel and he did his garage but it should work for a bedroom. He's just a DYI.

My wife and son did the garage and shop with kits from Lowes. They added the texture while wet. Something to remember is almost all slabs develop hair line cracks and they are visible.
