Where you hunting, I’ve had this happen after hunting in rain for several days then get a freeze. Actually got water in rest somehow and rest froze up, most people don’t realize how close string comes to rest at launch if rest did not drop you lost half of your arrow speed with vane contact. If you have had freezing temps then I’d say rest. I’ve shot nocks that you could shake out of arrow if you got rough enough just to prove a point and they still fire just fine. A nock per inch compared to carbon is very heavy it would take a very loose nock and very tight string pinch to leave nock on string like that.

With the top picture looks like your getting a lot of knock pinch. I would suggest redoing your D LOOP and adding some serving to the top and bottom of knock point with some wiggle room so you don’t get pinched.

I’ve used the same rest since I’ve started bow hunting and never had a issue with them. I did notice this week my rest on my back up bow which is 12 years old was letting down slower and getting vane contact. I took the face plate off added a little reel oil to the spring and rod and it fixed it.

          Never underestimate old Murph.

One reason I always kept my equipment simple...when I was bowhunting.

Sucks anyway you look at it tho.
